Before I start, I would like to express my sadness in the passing away of a great young Australian talent, Heath Ledger(RIP) who died at only 28 years of age. Very young. I first saw him in the movie Ned Kelly and from thereon admired him for his youth and talent. Tsk Tsk Tsk.
Firstly I would like to thank all those who thoughtfully greeted verbally, email, 360/multiply messages, sent holiday wishes through cards gifts and memento's- they are all appreciated!
David and I gifted each other the Phil-Singapore holiday, Vivian gave us a camera and Ray gave me a nice pendant of pearl and gold.
David and I joined a Christmas gloss and lights tour at twilight to view some Christmas street wonderland. It's amazing how some people really go out of their way to bring joy and wonder to kids and adults alike by creating some christmas lights wonderland in their streets and backyards. Some of the lights we saw was a helicopter up the roof and a collection of dolls.
We went to mass on Christmas eve at 6pm on our catholic church. It was meant to be a visit but to our pleasant surprise the church had a mass for children and so it was jampacked! So we ended up hearing the mass.
We spent our Christmas Dinner with Ray's Dad and Stepmum who kindly offered to cook because we are all cleaned up and packed for our trip on the 26th of Dec. We enjoyed the lunch with shared food and laughter over the bomboms.
And now that all that is done, it was time to go to the Airport .......will follow soon! Thank you friends, for patiently waiting and I promise that there will be more photos to come!
